Meet Jeromey
Jeromey Wheeler joined our small, yet mighty sales team in October as our North American Sales Manager. Be on the lookout as he is eager to hit the road and meet everyone. He is already making a tremendous impact and bringing so talent and enthusiasm to our team, customers, and partners.
Without further ado, meet Jeromey:
Tell us a little about you!
I’m from the metro Atlanta area. I am married to my wonderful wife Cassie and have two kids in college. My wife was a Dental Hygienist back in Atlanta, and is currently taking time to help get us moved up to Virginia and ensure the kids are settled before we move. My oldest is a junior at UGA, pursuing an accounting/CPA degree, and my youngest is at UNG, working toward becoming a nurse anesthetist.
Before joining KMC, I worked in refractory sales management, with a focus on selling refractories to steel mills across the Southeast.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
Traveling, seeing new places, and getting to meet new people. I am truly a people person at my core and love getting to talk to people from all regions of the US and around the world—you just never know what you might learn!
In your opinion, what makes KMC different?
The family atmosphere! It’s such a relief working for a company and family who take the time to invest in getting to know you. Everyone here has gone above and beyond to make me feel welcome and included. I could go on and on with example after example of how the team here truly works together like a big family, making you feel right at home from day one!
What’s something that might surprise people about you?
I am constantly told that I look like Bert Kreischer—some people have even asked for pictures with me!
What’s your favorite way to spend time outside of work?
For fun, I love to play golf, bird hunt, fly airplanes, and watch UGA football. I also love spending time with my wife visiting wineries, breweries, and distilleries.
Jeromey, thanks for sharing with us—we’re thrilled to have you on the team!
And speaking of our small, yet mighty Sales and Marketing Team…It was recently brought to our attention that Steven Ashlock, VP / Director of Sales & Marketing, is long overdue for a spotlight. Stay tuned for our Spring Newsletter!
Thank you!
