Job Summary:
The Dredge Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating dredging equipment to extract and recover materials from water bodies. Responsibilities:
Operate the dredge machinery to remove materials from the water body's bottom, often referred to as the "dredge cut." Control the depth of excavation and ensure efficient material extraction.
Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following MSHA regulations. Identify and report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions promptly.
